On December 10, 2020, The Real Anthony Fauci received the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award
Awkward!
Held December 10, in honor of Human Rights Day, the gala honored Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Dolores Huerta, founder and president of the Dolores Huerta Foundation and co-founder of United Farm Workers of America; Colin Kaepernick, human rights activist, co-founder of Know Your Rights Camp, and Super Bowl quarterback; Dan Schulman, president and chief executive officer of PayPal; and Dan Springer, chief executive officer of DocuSign.
The ceremony is typically an in-person event in New York. This is the first time it was held virtually, insuring that as many people as possible could hear the laureates' enduring message of hope.
Accepting his award, Dr. Fauci said, “I came of age in the 1960s. At the time, I was living in New York City, pursuing my medical training at Cornell University Medical Center and its affiliated hospital. Like many in my generation, I was inspired by the dynamic trio of Kennedy brothers in government service during that decade—John as President, Robert as Attorney General, and then Senator from New York State, and Ted as Senator from Massachusetts—and their pursuit of a more just and egalitarian society. Then, so quickly in succession, the world suffered the incomprehensible loss of two of them.
“After finishing my medical residency,” he continued, “I joined the National Institutes of Health. It was about 15 years later, through my role as NIAID director, that I had the good fortune to begin forging a delightfully warm and productive friendship with Ted during his distinguished Senate career. In the 1980s, he became one of the earliest champions of our creating a new NIAID research program focused on the emerging HIV/AIDS epidemic.”
I don’t hate Hope.
I love Hope.
Hope good.
I’m tired of the toxic Black Pills.
Blessing to all the Hopers!
Blessings to Anthony Fauci who helped Donald Trump get the Covid Shots out to us and into our bodies.
Now let’s get busy RESCUING THE REPUBLIC.
WHO’S WITH ME?
He’s going to be so surprised the award is just a can of pringles
Let’s check in with Mary Jo Kopechne for her thoughts on that ‘warm’ guy Teddy.
Wiki labels her an “American Secretary”. That’s cold. Really cold.
You cannot make this shit up.
