Saving Grandma

Sorry Youngs. You didn't ask for this War. But the Olds need it to preserve their understandings and make them feel alive. You understand...don't you?

Saving Grandma

Tradition is just dead people applying peer pressure.

In theory, we could actually have a Great Reset. A real one.

We could “change the culture” as one of my more hopeful readers says.

In reality, it seems that we are going to have a redux.

Really disappointed in this latest episode of World War. Was hoping for some new storylines.

The world is going to come to an end and it will happen over a superhero argument.

It’s not even a new superhero argument.

In the one corner we have Batman.

Batman is good!

In the other corner we have Superman.

Superman is bad!

Who you got?

Doesn’t really matter whether Batman is a Republican and Superman is a Democrat.

Or Batman is a Nazi or Superman is a Commie.

Fun fact: I was on Substack for about five minutes when I was knowingly informed that the Nazis were on the right side of history because they opposed the Communists, and I needed to do some research.

Doesn’t really matter if Batman is a Hutu and Superman is a Tutsi or Batman is Armenian and Superman is Turkish or Batman is a Protestant Ulster and Superman is Catholic IRA or Batman is Indian and Superman is Pakistani or Chinese or Batman is a Dallas Cowboy fan and Superman is an Igglez fan.

Batman might be China. Unless Nixon goes there and we’re good now.

Superman might be North Korea. Unless Trump goes there and we’re good, Rocket Man.

Batman might be those Muslim Terrorists.

Unless you need them to fight those Commies.

Superman might be those Commies.

Until Reagan (and Bernie who would be predictably Russiagated decades later cuz Blob gon’ Blob) bury the hatchet and now it’s détente.

All along the way, the blood will spill.

But the Chickenhawk “Patriots” will not spill their blood.

No, sir.

No, sir.

These sanctimonious fucks will be exercising their stolen valor as they await the ends of their miserable lives and berate their server because their steak didn’t come with crispy onion rings or some shit.

(Yeah, I don’t know about that one either. I’m riffing here!)

We have a lot of Walking Fossils “ruling” the World right now.

These crazy useless old fucks who should be playing chess wearing socks in a nursing home are going to give you the World War you didn’t deserve, but hey…it makes them feel alive.

Now go get the fucking jabs, kids. Do it for Grandma.

You don’t necessarily have to play along as they push you off the cliff.

But some of you out there are just not going to change your map of the world.

You are going to rigidly cling to it. You will only turn it over to the Great Sky Fairy Concept when it has claw marks all over it.

Change is tough.

If you think about it. Change is a form of death.

The death of an idea.

Or a paradigm.

You can make the vaccine parallel sure. I have traveled a long way in a short time in my understandings of “vaccines”.

I didn’t start out where I am now!

But much like Sesame Street pressured young kids to poison themselves to save Grandma, and Boomers like Joni Mitchell and Neil Young freaked out about Joe Rogan, and Noam Chomsky advocated the starving out of the filthy un-injected?

You’ll hang on like your immortal soul depends on it.

Hey hey, my my. mRNA will never die…

Can someone please go give some healthy youngs myocarditis? I must feast on their swollen hearts.

You know who you are out there.

You’ll keep revisiting that seminal moment in your life and peer pressuring the next generation to fight that enemy from your childhood.

The Laser Pointer is undefeated.

There will always be someone out there sitting at their kitchen table cheering on the Hunger Games.

If there is one thing I’ve noticed about those who love war.

They are always happy to let someone else’s kids go fight it.

Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

Hermann Goering, Germany Reborn

Quiet part out loud, bro.

Nazi Herm just pulled your covers, bro.

If there is one thing I’ve noticed about those who favor eugenics.

They are always happy to let others go first in the cull.

Was it always thus?

Sadly, Magic 8-Ball says…Yes.

Of course Magic 8-Ball was a Freemason, so…

*If I don’t toss some humor into the mix, I’m going to get threatened again. Explore that terrain.

If there is one thing I’ve realized about really bright people…especially now in the age of Covid?

It’s that they are probably speaking from a private place of instinct and dressing it up in “training” or “expertise”. A primal corner of their mind.

To which I stand on the bank of the river and offer my own primal wisdom:

Of course, we are all monsters. We are prone to behave very badly. We are animals by nature. The most predatory animal on the planet, and it ain't close.

The social ordering is how "Monsterism" is either co-opted and sublimated, or encouraged and condoned.

Sage Hana, Substack.com

Yes, History Guy, it was a move towards Totalitarianism.

Yes, Theater Guy, the Incentive Structures do set up the outcomes.

Because we all have a little Monster within us. Or a lot.

We’re Monsters and over time, the Monster asserts itself.

One miniscule turn at a time we screw ourselves into a Monster knot.

And the whole idea of “checks and balances” is that we can help one another not be such God Awful Beasts.

Really, though. Putin or bin Laden or Rocket Man might be in your kitchen spiking your coffee right now.

Or it could just be rich people consolidating power and trampling over their fellow critters.

And as our boy Herman said up top. Bringing the people to bear is the easy part.

I recently outed myself in a post as a bona fide Native American (with the government papers and all that garbage). Relevant because the whole "save the elders" narrative was totally weaponized in those communities already relegated to general invisibility or an afterthought at best. I started drafting a post about it but writing about it brings up so much anger that I haven't finished it. Most elders I know are the people who remember what government mandates did to their families by way of forced boarding schools, etc, but suddenly plague juice jabs are okay because .......... Oh I guess because the government never did anything bad to the community? Experimenting on our women to make them sterile was all in our heads? Separating children from their families was for their own good, I guess? Well, take this experimental medicine, cuz grandma and elders and stuff! My blood BOILS.

Don’t mess with my daughter or granddaughters. That’s all I’ve got to say.
