I've been trying to figure out people wearing double face masks as of today, November 17 2024.

It's enough to break the brain....... but I figured out pretty fast, that people STILL wearing masks are a lot like me.

We're the ones who haven't "gotten over" 2020/2021.

Someone here wrote that they probably never would "get over" the last 5 years.

I sure as hell know I won't.

That is exactly right. We have that in common with the maskers, for entirely different reasons. They are signaling compliance with the totalitarians and will continue to until they are told not to. We are 180 degree opposite. Strange world we live in.

We were in a venue of 300 or more people last night and there were only 3 with masks - thank god!

BUT, two of those were our oldest friends here for the last 30 years.

I couldn't even...... still have no fricking idea WHY they would don their super duty masks in November of 2024.

She's an RN for decades, now semi retired. He's the toughest logger, fisherman anyone has ever met.

Were they virtue signalling post "election"?

Honestly believing (after the last 5 years!!!!) that cooties can't get through a mask?!

Were feeling sick themselves (in which case they should have stayed home)?

Couldn't ask because of the music and the inability to even hear them, if I had asked.....

My brain does hurt this morning.

One of my best friends and her husband was?/is? a supermasker. He got a terrible illness after getting all his vaccines. She also had fragile health. Both were relatively young. I think the masking was because they were freaked out by health conditions that were dire. They moved away from my town shortly before 2020. We haven't kept up.

I tried to tell her what I knew then (second tier stuff) about the shots, but very lightly bc she was so stressed out.

Sometimes, all you can do is grieve.

I love the way you end your comments frequently with a really good one-liner to wrap it up!

On another note, don’t give up with old friends. There is always hope! Case in point: my best friend from high school and before who is still alive, so I’ve known him for over 60 years, got himself vaxxed and boosted (a year later developed pulmonary emboli) despite my protestations and admonitions. And I’ve been preaching to him about the ruling class and their shenanigans ever since the Vietnam War in 1968 or so. And it has always been water off a duck’s back. His usual response is a link to an article in The Atlantic. Yesterday I get a call from him and we talked for two hours. The reason for his call was because he told me he finally understood I was right that there really was a group of really evil people who want to make life hell for him and his family, and that his adult son is really upset because he doesn’t see a future for his two young sons. So what caused this wake-up call (after 50+ years)? Seeing Trump fake his own assassination in Butler, PA!! It’s pretty sad when one has to grasp on to an anecdote like this to hope that change is coming, but, hey, I guess I’ll take whatever I can get!

So good to hear that he finally got it. Interesting about eargate being the crack in the facade. A woman I know, very liberal, TDS all the way, was upset when I suggested that it was a faked assassination attempt. I assumed she'd cheer. Stone cold fear of disbelieving the narrative is how I read it with her. "Do. Not. Upset. My. Worldview."

I agree with not giving up on old friends or family members. I liken it to the advice given family members when a loved one is in a destructive cult. That is to keep the connection open. That way, they feel they have a place to land once they figure it out. Sounds like you are a good friend. Decades-long friends are irreplaceable.

I think it's part of the psyop to throw people under the bus if they don't see what you see. Destroy bonds of all sorts.

"Weltanshunsgskrieg" = "Worldview Warfare"

The concept of psychological warfare emerged in Nazi Germany and was later adopted by the USA.

The word is a translation of the German “Weltanschauungskrieg” (war of worldviews). Wall Street Lawyer William Donovan “Wild Bill” was one of the first to use it in the context of public relations in the USA. President Franklin Roosevelt appointed him as Director of the new U.S. intelligence agency, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS, predecessor of the CIA) who saw “psychological warfare” as an important stratagem for “engineering of consent” in the public mind (see Chomskys & Hermans “propaganda model”).

Yes, Katie, I think breaking friendship and family bonds is a very deliberate and important part of the psyop. Everything you write here is so incisive. I was so surprised when he mentioned “Eargate” (I love that term) as the trigger. He continued: “but I saw that in real time with my own eyes, that it was all completely fake.” And then I understood why it was the trigger that changed his view. When people finally understand that one of the big whoppers that build the narrative is just a baldfaced lie, then they start thinking about all they’ve been lied to about. And one thing leads to another…

Tom this is fantastic.

"Never give up on old friends"

Thank you, and I haven't and I won't.

Your oldest best friend did have to call you though.

And he had to come to this himself, right?

Isn't life strange....that it was Butler PA - after 56 years?! that brought him to where you are and have been.

Since 1968, you said.

Thank you for writing this.

Yes, Jill (sorry no Cyrillic's), he did come to it himself but I’ve been talking with him intermittently for a really long time and I’m always careful not to get angry and if the differences in our discussion are just too far apart I’ve just made a joke and gone on to something more neutral. I was very lucky to have a great group of very eclectic high school friends who had a lot of different interests. Some, unfortunately, are no longer with us and some who were really good friends no longer stay in touch, but I saw great value in keeping these friendships alive all these years just because I appreciated their personalities and because they were the people I could share perspective with. I could go on for a long time about this but I have to tell one little vignette. The two friends, who still live in the same town that we grew up in and have been very close all this time, ended up on different sides of the Harris-Trump divide. One of them told the other that they are no longer friends, since he couldn’t be friends with a Trumper. Can you imagine? A few days later the Trumper had a TIA and called me during the acute stages and I gave him advice and since he was going to be alone I ended up calling the Harris supporter and asked him to stay with the Trumper over night so nothing untoward happened. The following day the Harris supporter apologized for his behavior and now they are back on speaking terms. I was very happy about that.

Yes, I have friends like you described - and did tell them my views on injections January 2021. To no avail.

Ditto the friends in masks last night.

I noticed a very conspicuous lack of "Olds" in the crowd, yet these two are in their mid and late 70s and the THE most robust energetic people in town.

After multiple injections and a gazillion skewers up the nose!

They defy gravity.

Unlike Froot Loops which are for Tribbles.

Or are Tribbles.

Or are filled with proteins. Spikey spikey proteins.
