Georgia official collapsed suddenly on Tuesday and died in the hospital - on the same day after testifying about the Conyers, GA BioLab chemical explosion
The attack, errr...fire occurred 11-days ago
Eleven days ago.
Yesterday, the state official asking for an investigation got dead.
Kenny Johnson, 62, was Rockdale's state representative supervisor for soil and water conservation. He testified about the BioLab chemical fire that spewed clouds of chlorine gas and smoke in Conyers - where Johnson lived with his family.
He later collapsed near the state Capitol and was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died.
During his recorded testimony, Johnson claimed this was the second time he had asked for a criminal investigation - the first time was three weeks prior to Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff, whose office told the environment boss they'd do an injury by utilizing the Department of Justice.
He expressed his concern about the sulfuric acid the company keeps on the property - even going as far to implore the Rockville County community to go to the doctor for bloodwork to test toxins.
Johnson said: 'EPA Region 4 is the worst region in the United States, look it up. Rockdale County been out of federal compliance for four decades.'
'I've been fighting for six years.'
'I've been saying that company is going to explode. No one listened. We got to move this company out of this community.'
The environment boss asked hard questions about BioLab such as when he asked why the chemicals were stored in a dry place.
Throughout the testimony, Johnson appeared breathless - at one point taking inhaling deeply and saying 'let me catch my breath'.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation agreed to investigate Johnson's death due to the timing and circumstances, 11Alive reported.
Kenny Johnson Conyers Dies
Kenny Johnson, the 62-year-old Rockdale County Soil and Water Conservation District supervisor, died on Tuesday after collapsing at the Georgia State Capitol during a public meeting discussing the BioLab chemical fire in Conyers, Georgia. The fire occurred on September 29, releasing hazardous chlorine gas and smoke into the surrounding community.
Johnson testified alongside business owners and leaders, expressing concerns about the sulfuric acid stored and used at the BioLab facility, which received significant taxpayer funds. He called the fire “an environmental disaster” before his death.
After complaining of shortness of breath, Johnson collapsed in the hallway outside the hearing room. State Rep. Viola Davis, a nurse, administered CPR until medical officials arrived and rushed him to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
Johnson was a dedicated environmental justice advocate and served as the Rockdale Soil and Water Conservation District representative for years. His death has sparked concerns about the impact of the BioLab fire on the local community and the need for accountability and action to prevent similar disasters in the future.
I did a little cursory search and also found this, although it is paywalled.

So there you go. Some semi-digging and some code switch digging.
Infinite Swirl.
I was in Atlanta when this happened and could see and smell it in the air. I breathed it for a day or two. I came home and my urine turned dark and it turned out my liver function was suddenly out of whack. Guess what the WHO says is a main side effect of short term dioxin exposure is? That’s right, liver function abnormalities.
“ Short-term exposure of humans to high levels of dioxins may result in skin lesions, such as chloracne and patchy darkening of the skin, and altered liver function. Long-term exposure is linked to impairment of the immune system, the developing nervous system, the endocrine system and reproductive functions.”
