The minute I heard talk of cell phone calls from airplanes I knew it was fake. I flew all the time during that time as my job demanded it. If cell phones would have worked, I could have gotten work done on the plane. Plus, as I've written about, all the airports everywhere were under construction before 9/11 and suddenly the next day the construction stopped and airports unveiled the new security procedures and all the stores and gates were behind the security area and no one could go there except passengers.

They specifically said "cell phones" on the news stories and the people they called said cell phones too. They recognized the caller ID. Airphone calls were astronomically expensive so hardly anyone used them. I did see later that some were from the airphones, but not very many.

They specifically said "cell phones" on the news stories and the people they called said cell phones too. They recognized the caller ID. Airphone calls were astronomically expensive so hardly anyone used them. I did see later that some were from the airphones, but not very many.
Also, airphones sucked. They were one step up from kids walkie-talkies. Call quality was pretty bad, and they would drop calls a lot anyway.

These "debunkers" have the thought processes of children.
