They're both caring lefties. He couldn't answer so crossly told me he didn't appreciate having to justify his beliefs or actions.

Computational or not, I kind of think a linguistics expert should be able to parse sentences of propaganda-speak and neurolinguistic programmng, but I guess the herd-pull of academic status and conformity wins over even supposed 'expertise'.
