It's something more sinister. Hard to describe because he's casting a spell using modern psychology techniques.
All these people appeal to different demographics, too.
What I was thinking about with Brand, who often rants, is the way he directs his attention with the people he's interviewing. It's not normal, makes him seem twitchy or distracted. But he does it with effect (reinforcing what he wants them to say, ignoring what he doesn't. And they never know this is being done.
With Jones and the like you can't miss it. I never watched Trump's Apprentice show. Shouty, seemed like a mean man. Harris, on the other hand often appears to make no sense. She's speaking in code is why. She's not a whisperer, but rather vapid appearing. She's not that vapid, I think, just an actor. I don't seek out these "opportunities" to see Harris and/or Trump. They pop up whenever I try to watch youtube.
I have to give it to Harris, she's a better actor than someone like Kory. Kory was pretty shouty but lately he's adopted a "calm, wise, helpful doctor" demeanor. She may be a better actor than Trump, who always seems stagey.
Yeah, I never knew or thought about the Trump person, not having had television for 35 years.....but now, after seeing tons of clips of him since 2016, in interviews etc, he seems to always be enjoying himself.
Perhaps he models himself after Santa Claus in a land of elves.
