My thoughts. This is a variation of the "uncanny valley effect": our emotions make us to reject an obvious reality.
For example: birth control pills are a drug designed to cause temporary infertility. That is a fact and it was always a fact. Who dares to question it?
I opine, and I don't present it as a fact, that the pill that "liberated" women so that they could compete with promiscuous gay men, is a product of a political ideology that used to be known as "eugenics" and today is known as "environmentalism" or "ecologism".
Perhaps other people have a better name for the neo-eugenics crime syndicate.
Just like people cannot believe that doctors can poison people to limit their biology, under false pretenses, people in general don't believe that a political ideology can go that far. Philosophers are harmless, right? I would mention the Soviets and the Nazis as a counterexample.
Ideologies are not just pies in the sky. Some of them become soldiers marching through the border, wrecking havoc. It's a problem that has always existed. People don't just throw a big war because they are bored. They need to become hypnotized with ideology, and/or a few more things.
Looking back at this time I have to laugh. In the middle of it I remember how frustrating the timeline revision was, as it seemingly kept happening faster and faster. Even after only a year some of my colleagues began mis-remembering events and I had to show them receipts. (of the meeting mentioned later) Something would happen or would be announced and then only a few months later they would frame it as something else. Hell, even DeSantis was pushing as early as his election in 2022 that he did not lock down the state for a time. Many Floridians who lived through it somehow do not remember it anymore or at the least they try to dismiss it as "not as bad" as others. The point is, in December 2019 there were MANY people talking about Covid-19, or what became known as Covid-19. In fact, during my clinical team meeting in Dec 19 for a healthcare group I am contacted with we discussed this at great length because of the concerns with SARS-COV1 and MERS and how odd this was. The story, no matter what it is, always changes. Keep receipts and don't fall for their revisionist history. They can turn the most evil tyrant into a global hero in a matter of weeks with their narrative control. Just repeat, repeat, repeat and then watch them all believe.
