I have been watching videos and updates regarding the Palisades fire and now the other two and I am going to compile a list from what I have seen so far regarding similarities to the Lahaina fires:
1. Scenes of driving through the fire look apocalyptic but some houses appear to be incinerated while others are untouched
4. There's rumors of there being no water to fight the fires
5. There have been recent budget cuts to the fire department
6. Homeowners insurance in some cases was recently updated to lesson coverage: Looking like a land grab
7. Were there weather anomalies? The winds seem abnormally high
8. Three fires emerging spontaneously? And from one small fire which was put out on January 1?
Now on the plus side the avacuation appears to be going better. There have been a few deaths reported but it does not appear that there was a goal to herd people into a small area and incinerate them. But this does not appear natural...
I have eyes on the 10,000+ acre Eaton fire in LA; very noticeable -as in TOTAL lack of fire command control air support and ZERO local LAPD air activity of any kind. ZERO.
20+ years of living in SoCal I have lived through multiple fires- never once did I ever see ANY fire in a reaidential area that did not recieve immediate air support- this is not the first fire in "high winds", nor is it the first instance of multiple fires burning at once. This is so obviously a synthetic event with multiple flashpoints starting simultaneously, firecrews are deliberately standing down while at the same time claiming to be actively fighting the fires (they are not in evidence) and final clincher is today the winds are totally calm, visibility is very clear (except directly over the smokecloud) and yet, in a metropolis region that typically on any given day would have a dozen or more LAPD choppers buzzing around surveilling and snooping constantly and ANY fire would have a multitude of airborne resources such as helicoptor tankers (and fixed wing tankers of all sizes up to like 737 size) with the choppers sipping into local resevoirs to refill for continuous water drops etc for as long as needed to hold the fire off- NONE of this happening. The fire is basically left to expand and destroy all life and property in it's path. It is SO obvious this is willful deliberate arson, and yet people are conditioned to be so trusting of their leaders. Idiots. When will people realize (will they ever?) we are all Gazans now. They hate us, they want us dead, and they want to steal our land.
ps they dont rely on water from hydrants to fight fires in Angeles Crest mountains etc - that would be water tanker trucks and airborne tankers doing water drops picking up water using a giant suction hose hovering over a resevoir etc
point is their excuse that the "water ran out" or was "turned off" is insultingly stupid and irrelevant- neighborhoods that are being destroyed are in the foothills and those firecrews are equipped and trained to fight wildfires with portable water sources. Shameless lying scumbags
Thank you for your on the ground reporting on this. I have seen many a smoke plume over the mountains from our old view in Venice. Wildfires are not uncommon at all in the California brushlands. Thus far I had seen evidence of firetrucks in the Palisades fire. If they are standing down and letting it all burn in the Eaton fire it is definitely intentional. They don't even try to hide it anymore...

For the area I use to live in I looked at weather app this morning and it said winds from 80-100 mph, really in over 20 yrs I lived in that area there have been high winds during Santa Ana winds but I do not remember 80-100 mph.
